WY-75 ANSI-Compatible Display Terminal (obs.) The WY-75 ANSI X3.64-compatible display terminal is the one DEC-compatible terminal that offers a full range of user features, a compact ergonomic design, and a price which no one else can match. The WY-75 is fully software-compatible with the DEC VT-100 so it will operate with the majority of DEC or UNIX-based software systems. The machine includes a 14" screen with high resolution characters for user comfort and a low-profile sculptured keyboard for greater operator efficiency. Improved Ergonomics The WY-75 is not only one of the best looking display terminals around, it incorporates a whole host of ergonomic features not found in other machines. The display unit has full tilt and swivel with the on/off switch and brightness controls positioned conveniently at the front, while the keyboard has an improved key layout and a two-position height adjustment. Even the non-volatile soft set-up mode is easy to learn and use. Compatibility The WY-75 is designed to operate with most DEC, or UNIX-based software and even includes a number of features only found on the VT-220, such as block mode, editing keys, and 16 programmable function keys. It even has a built-in printer port as standard.
